promptsinpanem is pleased to announce Holidays in Panem, a special two-day challenge for fans of The Hunger Games and Everlark. Starting at 12:01AM on Saturday, December 14th and ending on Sunday, December 15th, submissions will be open for holiday themed fanworks.
We encourage you to produce your own fan fiction or art, and submit it to promptsinpanem using our easy submission guidelines. Due to this being a two-day event, you may submit your work during any point within the 48-hour window that submissions will be open. You may submit one work of each type during that period— for example, you may submit both a fanfic and fanart if you choose. To follow the fan works, either follow promptsinpanem, or track the tag “promptsinpanem.”
Because this is a special event challenge, the prompt is simply Everlark during the holiday season, and that includes all winter holidays. Beyond that, let your imagination run wild. Canon or AU is acceptable. Anyone is welcome to join in on the fun as long as you follow our simple rules.

Chapter 7 - Envy
She Sees Him… Shouldn’t Care… But Something Compels
Lust by the-tesseract-wrinkling-time
She hears giggling, murmuring from a crowd of girls on her way out of school into the woods.
Predictably, her eyes roll.
They’re all merchant. Must be nice not having anything better do after class lets out…
Then, her eyes land on the subject of the girls’ attention. The baker’s youngest son is bent over double knotting his shoes for wrestling.
Why can’t she look away?
When she’s sent off to her rich uncle’s lake house for the summer, Katniss Everdeen doesn’t know what to do with herself. Prim doesn’t need her and their aunt is buying her more things than she’s ever even dreamed of having. And then there is Peeta Mellark. Katniss definitely doesn’t know what to do about him and all the new feelings he stirs up in her.
I should have never started this in the first place, though I don’t regret one minute I’ve spent with her. With Katniss, the woman whom I’ve grown to love, despite Delly, whom I’ve vowed to be faithful to.
Warnings: deals with infertility and infidelity
